The five scholarships are as follows:

Norwalk (CT) High School (3)

• Seniors with at least three years at NHS who are members of the National Honor Society and in the top 10% of their class are eligible to apply. Applications predominantly based on achievements in academics, arts, athletics community service, religious service plus recommendations from people working with the student in those five areas. Applications are available through Norwalk High national honor society and guidance office. 2008 award: $120,000 to recipient and $3,000 to finalists.
• Senior member of the Norwalk High School Marching Band with the highest four year GPA. No application. 2008 award: $4,000.
• Senior member of the Norwalk High School Jazz Band for outstanding contributions to the Jazz Program. 2008 award: $1,000.

St. Jerome Parish, Norwalk CT

• Senior member of the high school youth group selected for character, service and commitment to youth group. Selected by Youth Minister at St. Jerome. No application. 2008 award: $5,000.

Boston College

• Carroll School of Management Honors Program awarded to an outstanding junior applied to senior year tuition. No application, selected by faculty advisory board to Honors Program. 2008 award: $11,000 ($6,000 provided by Kevin’s Fund and $5,000 provided through private contributions).
