Our 2010 Scholarship Awards Are:

Norwalk High School

  • $100,000 to a graduating Senior, in the Kevin M. Eidt Chapter of the National Honor Society, in good standing and in the top 10% of their class with demonstrated achievements across the spectrum of academics, arts, athletics, and community and religious service. The scholarship recipient is determined by the scholarship selection committee based on a submitted application and personal interview process. The presentation of this scholarship is made at our annual Benefit Dinner Dance held in late March or early April.


  • $4,000 to the four year member of the Norwalk High School Marching Band, in good standing, with the highest cumulative grade point average, similar to Kevin's achievement. The recipient is determined by the Principal of Norwalk High School, or a designated representative, based on the standard grade point average formula used in the determination of official class ranking. The scholarship recipient is announced at the annual Band banquet in June.


  • $1,000 to a graduating senior at Norwalk High School who has made an outstanding contribution to the Jazz program. The recipient is determined by the Jazz Director and is announced at the annual Band banquet in June.


  • $1,000 to a graduating senior at Norwalk HS who has made an outstanding contribution to the Orchestra program. The recipient is determined by the Orchestra Director and is announced at the Norwalk High School awards assembly in May.


  • $1,000 to a graduating senior at Norwalk High School who has made outstanding contributions to the school both as a scholar and as an athlete. The recipient is selected by the Eidt family from a student list submitted by Norwalk High School and is announced at the Norwalk High School awards assembly in May.

Boston College

  • Awarded to a junior in the Boston College Carroll School of Management Honors Program who has demonstrated the unique combination of academic achievement, character, leadership, and school spirit similar to Kevin’s. The recipient is selected by the faculty and administrators of the Honors Program. The award amount is determined each March and is announced along with the recipient at the end of spring semester.

St. Jerome Youth Group

  • $4,000 to a senior in the St. Jerome Youth Group with demonstrated commitment to community and religious service similar to Kevin's. The recipient of this scholarship is selected by the adult ministry team and is announced at the annual graduation dinner in the spring.
